
	Personal Profile
	In order to use certain areas of this Web site, a user must first register for membership. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name, address and email). We use this information to create a profile of our users. It is optional for the user to provide demographic information but encouraged so we can provide a more personalized experience on our site. This information is to help expedite transactions for reservations and to provide a more personalized service. When you make a reservation or purchase services through Airtraveler, we provide information about you to the airline, car rental agency, hotel or other involved third party to ensure the successful fulfillment of your purchase or travel arrangement. We will also use the information to contact the user about services on our site for which he has expressed interest. This information is stored as part of the user’s personal profile and is not shared or sold to others.

	Payment Transactions
	The user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and billing address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date) for us or third party partners to process transactions which require payment. This information is only used for billing purposes and to complete the user’s reservation request. Some of our services are provided by third party members, we will only provide the third party members with the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. Additionally, if we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user.

	Profile
	We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users that details their viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to the user’s personally identifiable information to provide offers and improve the content of the site for the user. This profile is used to tailor a user’s visit to our Web site and to direct pertinent marketing promotions to them. We do not share your profile with other third parties.

	Cookies
	A cookie is a piece of text data stored on the user’s computer. 	Third Party Intermediaries
	We use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

	Business Transitions
	In the event Airtraveler.com goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users’ personal information will, in most instances, is part of the assets transferred.

	Chat Rooms, Message Boards, and Public Forums
	Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information on message boards, through e-mail, or in chat areas - that information can be collected and used by others. In short, by posting personal information online that is publicly accessible, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

	Security
	This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line. When users are asked to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the SSL. While on a secure page, such as our reservation form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer is displayed. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Additionally, we store the personal information you provide in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities.

	Individual Information - What we Collect and Why
	Your name, email address, physical address, phone and fax number, and credit card number are necessary to ensure we are able to make and confirm your reservation. We do not share this personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your reservation or product order. Your contact information is needed in order to notify you in the event of any processing difficulties or unforeseen circumstances fulfilling your reservation or product order. In some cases, paper tickets may need to be mailed to you. The more easily we can contact you, the better we can serve you. Airtraveler will use the information you provide about yourself in order to make the website as customer friendly as possible. We want to know you to better serve you, but do not want to invade your life.

	Surveys - What We Collect and Why
	From time to time Airtraveler conducts voluntary customer surveys, which may ask questions about broad background information and customer preferences. This survey information is completely optional and you are under no obligation to be a part of any survey. The information we collect is used to better serve our customers by helping Airtraveler determine our customer's needs and improve the satisfaction and use of this site. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include demographic information. Your contact information may be required if a prize is to be awarded to survey respondents either at random or individually. This will enable us to contact you to notify you of details regarding your prize.

	Access to your Personal Information
	Airtraveler provides you with the means to ensure that your personal information is correct and current. When you subscribe for membership, you can review and edit your personal information at the Profile Center. As a security precaution, you will be asked to enter your username and password before viewing your personal information.

	Airtraveler is a general audience site and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
